Manning Municipal Utilities contracted USDI to design 24 miles of new transmission main and a new interconnect station. USDI provided the design, construction design drawings and project specifications for the project.
The City of Fremont, Nebraska commissioned USDI to perform and integrity study on their 10” steel high pressure natural gas main. As part of the study, stray AC current testing was completed and two areas of elevated AC pipe-to-soil potentials were found.
Duke Energy contracted USDI to perform External Corrosion Direct Assessment (ECDA) on natural gas plant piping at six natural gas peaker plant location in Indiana and Ohio. This aided in determining the location of coating holidays on in-plat piping.
USDI was chosen to design a natural gas distribution system for The City of Brownton, Minnesota, where residents previously used propane, fuel oil, or electricity for their heating needs.
USDI helped this Wisconsin community utility with design and start-up activities and now serves as operator of record for a 1.5-mile pipeline.
This member-owned electric power supply cooperative turned to USDI for both pipeline start-up and ongoing operations support.
